hello!
Hello!
My name is Margie Coyle. The love of my life, Alex Coyle, widowed me on November 28th, 2019. This traumatic and sudden tragedy in my life left me with a broken heart and mind, that to this day is still healing. But I am getting better every day, as they say, one day at a time. Another great love of my life is my only daughter, Rachel Coyle – a bright and thoughtful, beautiful and caring, spontaneously fun and loving young woman. I have many wonderfully loving and caring friends that have coddled, comforted and prodded me through this tremendously challenging time. I feel lucky everyday to have had and still have these big loves in my life.
I grew up in Garland, Texas, very recently described to me as “the armpit of the DFW area.” Sadly, I have to agree with this analogy and my apologies to my Garland cohorts, but please prove me wrong. Luckily, I spent my thriving adulthood era in Austin, Texas, where I spent almost the majority of my time with Alex and Rachel, and at a comedy club called initially the Laff Stop, and eventually Cap City Comedy. I actually really grew up in Austin at that club, from waiting tables, to eventually co-owning this amazingly spectacular, funny little business!
One of the other loves I have is to write stories about life, things, people, places, and memories, so I thought I would share them with the universe. So, here goes. I’m going to attempt to write and then post my little stories on a blog. As Alex use to say, “Enjoy!”
Lovely! A tribute to your love for Alex and Rachel and the strength you keep regaining every day!??
Thank you for reaching Betsy!
